About Estelle

As a small child I remember getting lost for hours on end making things with my hands. My mother always had a ready supply of art supplies for me to play with and I was so excited and enthusiastic about getting lost in the creative process for hours on end. She encouraged me in my artistic pursuits over the years and was certainly my biggest cheerleader.

Much later in her life my mother started to show cognitive decline when signs of dementia were present. After a very long and arduous journey I lost my mother in 2012 to the ravages of Alzheimer's disease. Making jewelry was a way for me to create some beauty out of the chaos and stress of watching her slowly slipping away as well as help to preserve my sanity. I feel so grateful that my mother was so instrumental in nurturing my artistic interests throughout my life and that I had an outlet where I could channel my creativity.

I confess that I am a "treasure hunter" and I love to spend time sourcing beautiful, unique and quality elements for my designs. As an adult I still continue to get lost for hours on end in my studio where I am designing and handcrafting my jewelry and accessories.Inspired by rich colors, world music, vibrant cultures, organic textures and antique patinas, I create my jewelry designs using a mixed media approach. My designer jewelry and accessories are meticulously handcrafted in my light filled studio overlooking an inspiring natural landscape.

I have a collection of designs including earrings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets, rings and one of a kind statement pieces. My jewelry and accessories are sold in my studio, boutiques and galleries. My intent is to handcraft beautiful, unique and sophisticated jewelry and accessory designs for you to love and enjoy wearing. According to my customers, get ready to receive some compliments!
